When you contact us or make a booking enquiry, we may collect:

• your name and email address;
• the dates you have in mind and the number of guests;
• the content of your message;
• technical browsing data (IP address, browser type) and cookies.

03Purposes of processing

Your data is used to respond to your enquiries, manage your booking and your stay, follow up on our relationship, and improve the website and keep it secure.

04Legal basis

Processing is based, depending on the case, on pre-contractual or contractual measures (booking), on your consent (contact form, non-essential cookies) and on our legitimate interest (security and improvement of the site).

05Recipients

Your data is intended solely for the owners of the trullo and, where applicable, our technical providers (host, and Hostaway for the booking engine) bound by an obligation of confidentiality. It is never sold to third parties.

06Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then for 3 years from our last contact. Accounting records relating to a booking are kept for 10 years, in accordance with legal obligations.

07Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• the right of access, rectification and erasure;
• the right to restriction of and objection to processing;
• the right to data portability;
• the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

08Cookies

The website sets no cookies until you have given your agreement. On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies; declining takes nothing away from how the site works.

If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to understand how the site is visited: pages viewed, source of the visit, device type. The data is kept for 14 months. As Google may process it in the United States, that transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google adheres.
